Anson A. 8 BIGELOW


159B3.416       Anson A. 8 BIGELOW, son of Hiram 7 ( Jairus 6 , Bond 5 , Elisha 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and Lovantia (GORDON) BIGELOW, was born Grand Blanc township, Genesee co, MI on 18 January 1843 and soon after his parents moved the family to Mundy township where Anson grew up.  He was married 05 March 1864 to Mary Ann Hallock.  She was daughter of Harmon and Hannah (Straw) Hallock and born 09 July 1842.  They lived in Mundy where Anson died 29 March 1897.  He had served in the Civil War, enlisting 06 December 1861 in Battery E, First MI Light Artillery and was mustered out 30 August 1865.  His widow died 29 November 1918 and both are buried in Evergreen cemetery, Mundy, MI.
