15923.281 Alpheus Russell 8 BIGELOW, son of Eliphaz 7 ( Russell 6 , Isaac 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John 1 ) and Mirium (McCLOUD) BIGELOW, was born at Union co., OH on 06 October 1827 and on 24 August 1848 married Melinda Converse. She was born in Madison co., OH on 12 July 1830 and was the daughter of Jeremiah, jr., and Melinda (Derby) Converse. (see below) This family resided in Milford Center, OH. He died on 28 August 1851 and about a year later she married James McCloud - on 21 August 1852. Melinda died in Union co., OH on 13 June 1902.

I am looking for the parents of Juliann Sager - b. 1820 - Madison Co.,
OH
Juliann Sager & Charles Converse (m. 1835) named their first son Squire
after Charles' father and the second son after himself (Charles).
The third son was named Daniel Bigelow Converse. I notice several Bigelow's
in Madison Co., OH for the 1820 and 1830 census'. Do you
know of any Bigelow - Sager connection?
I am looking for the parents of Juliann Sager - b. 1820 - Madison Co.,

1) The 1880 census has Juliann's father being born in VA and her mother
being born in CT. Here obituary says that she was born in
Madison County, Ohio, September 17th, 1820.
2) Juliann & Charles Converse (m. 1835) named their first son Squire
after Charles' father and the second son after himself (Charles). The
third son was named Daniel Bigelow Converse. I notice several Bigelow's
in Madison Co., OH for the 1820 and 1830 census'. Do you
know of any Bigelow - Sager connection?
The fourth son was named John Melvin Converse. Oddly, A John Sager (b.
20 Jan 1768) came from VA to Madsion Co., OH and was
living in the area at the time Juliann was born. Supposedly he (John)
had left his family in VA. He married Frederica Margaret Bogan 15
Mar 1830 in OH.

29 Oct 1851. On 09 August 1871, he married Hattie R. Parthemore. She was
born 05 July 1852 at Union co, OH, the daughter of Fred and Permelia (Morse)
Parthemore. She died 27 June 1937 at Milford Center, OH. The Bigelow Society
has more info on Parthemore and Morse family (see below).
Alpheus died 11 April 1905.
