Book: "Biographical Sketch of Moses Bigelow" sent to Genealogist
by Clare B. Sheppard, 53 Smith Street, St. Albans, Vermont 05478
on 14 March 2000, descendant, book was her father's.
Mentioned another book she has, "While Charlie Was Away" by Mrs.
Poultney Bigelow which genealogist wrote and asked her to
send. She mentioned Jacob Bigelow "The Underground RR" in
the Bigelow Society Quarterly, "Forge," Vol 26, No 3 p. 51.
"Was anything of his genealogy discovered? A Lucius Bigelow
kept an important stop on the underground RR here in Burlington,
Vermont (well documented), and was a newspaper editor along with
his brother George Bigelow. Wonder if there is a
connection?" Wrote Anne Bigelow Phillips, editor of The
Bigelow Society Quarterly, "Forge," 3/18/2000;
