New Note 08/31/05:
I am in the process of updating Harriet(7) Bigelow (15924.51).
1. I find a
Harriet
(R10897) b.1802, Herkimer Co., NY, dau of
Timothy (R7434) (15924.5) and Sally Streeter, and she is married
to John
Schutt (R10902), no children listed.
2. I find a Harriet R.
(R16711) (15924.41) born 18 Apr 1820 at
Shalesville, Ohio, dau of Timothy L. (R10813) (15923.63) and Annis
Ruggles, and she is married to Obiah Jordan (R16881), no children
listed;
John Schutt (R16882), six children listed; and also married to
Chauncey
Tripp (R16718), no children listed.
SUMMARY:
Harriet - 1802 (father
Timothy (15924.5), married to John Schutt
(R10902)
Harried R. - 1820
(father
Timothy L. (15923.63),
married
to: Chauncey Tripp (R16718); and
Obiah
Jordan ((R16881); and
John
Schutt (R16882)
Can I assume that Harriet R. (1820) is not married to John Schutt
(R16882)? Is it possible that Jean L. has attached this John
Schutt
(R16882) to the wrong Harriet? And that Obiah Jordan
(R16881) is
also
attached to the wrong Harriet? And that Harriet R. is only
married to
Chauncey (R16718)?
Is John Schutt (R16882) and (R10902) the same person?
The copy of the obituary that you have on the Internet attached to
Harriet (7) states Harriet and Obiah had a son, Beriah (will need
to add
to the family group sheet). Also is it possible I will need
to
move the
six Schutt children to the proper family group sheet?
HELP, HELP, HELP!!! Can I use your brain to help straighten
this
out.
What I'm really saying is - - you make the decisions and I'll
follow.
Hope that this all makes sense!

Hello Bigelows. I was searching and found a mistake on
the
site. Harriet Bigelows daughter Jane Schutt who was married
to
Milo Cook, resided in Olean,
NY in Cattaraugus County, not Orleans. Looks like it might
have
been a typo. Thought you wanted to know this. Harriet
would
have been my ggg
grandmother.

New Note 01/06/05:
Hi Rod Bigelow
I am researching the Schutt family tree and I might of found a
mistake
in yours (Monzo Schutt) I do believe is Alonzo Platt Schutt born
on
April 22, 1828
in Port Gibson New York and died June 22, 1913 in Port Gibson New
York.
That is at least what my father had written down many years ago.
If you have anymore information on the rest of the children I
would
surely appreciate any help.
I am trying to go into more detail on the tree besides their name.
Like for John Schutt do you know anything about what he did in the
war
of 1812 rank or outfit he was in?
For Hiram I have his obituary from the newspaper that my
grandmother
had saved.
John would be my 3rd great grandfather and Seymour E Schutt is my
2nd
great grandfather.
More:
I have put in pictures or newspaper articles that I can find
to
make it more of a history of the Schutt family not just a tree. For
Hiram I have his obituary from the newspaper that my grandmother
had
saved with a picture and that is added.
Thank you,
Bill Schutt
