Charles A. 7 BIGELOW


16C43.88     Charles A. 7 BIGELOW, son  of Spencer 6 ( Eleizer 5 , Joshua 4 , Eleazer 3 Joshua2, John1), and Mary Mathilda (PAYNE) BIGELOW, was bom 10 November 1863 in Oakland County, MI near Holly. He received his education in the district school and at the age of 18 moved to Stanton, MI to work in the lumber mills. He took up the trade of printer in Stanton and after three years in the trade, sold fruit trees for a season. In 1886 he moved to Morrice, MI and established the newspaper: The Morrice Sentinel which later became The Morrice Tribune. On 22 October 1883 he married Mary House, her parents not known. She was born in 1862 at Bennington township, Shiawassee, MI. Charles died 27 June 1933.

     Stanley Eugene Bigelow was born in 28 Dec 1885 in MI wife Kathryn Schier, also listed as Katherina, was born in 1889 in MI to Fredrick Shier who was b. 1867 in MI and Mary Sheets who was b. 1856 in Germany.  They had the following children, both born in Michigan:

John   b. 1915
