Asa 7 BIGELOW

15182.13    Asa 7 BIGELOW, son of William 6 , ( Ivory 5, Gershom 4, John 3, Samuel 2, John 1) , and  Catherine (BRIGHAM) BIGELOW, was born at Marlborough, Middlesex, MA on 19 January 1791 and married 04 October 1809 Lucy Hapgood. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Jackson) Hapgood, born in Marlborough 12 May 1793. They resided in Marlborough until about 1818, when they moved to Concord, MA where he was for some years editor of the Yeoman's Gazette, a paper published in Concord. Lucy died 12 May 1828 and he on 04 May 1829 at Concord.

15182.133     Adeline A., b 0l July 1813, bapt. as Augusta Adeline 20 Feb 1814; d 26 Nov 1891 Lawrence, MA; m 0l Aug 1831 Franklin Childs. In 1888 was living with her son Edward F. in Lawrence.

15182.134     Nahum B., b 11 Oct 1815; he followed the sea several years and his health failing, he went to New Orleans and studied medicine. On the completion of his studies he started for Chagres and died on the pasasge __ Sept 1850; unm.
 
15182.135     Joseph H., b 15 Sept 1817; d Jan 1837 Weston, MA; unm.
 
15182.136     Charlotte M., b 17 Oct 1819; d 30 Sept 1822 Concord.
 
15182.137     Mark Albion, b 05 Nov 1821; d 28 March 1827 Concord.

15182.138t    Anna Maria Louisa, b 16 Aug 1824; m 12 May 1844 James Rugg; 8 children.
