Humber < paulhumber@verizon.net>
This book was part of my dad’s collection. He passed in 1988, and his
name is Charles M. Humber. It is possible he preached in Springfield,
Mass, possibly at the Congregational Church there. Maybe someone there
gave him the book.
The old, leather book itself is famous, John
Bunyan’s Pilgrims Progress. I have sold books from my Amazon
account but have not put this one up; the signature of Amasa is special
(see below).
There is a similar book on Amazon, but it’s a different publisher and
may be missing the front cover. If you go here,
http://www.amazon.com/Pilgrims-Progress-world-delivered-similtude/dp/B00K9WA1GW/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419269762&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=1813+John+Bunyan%E2%80%99s+Pilgrim%E2%80%99s+Progress%2C+Published+by+Benjamin+Olds%2C+Newark%2C+NJ,
that one is selling for $59. My book is worth more, but if you would be
willing to purchase and review my dad’s book, Here &Hereafter,
and one other publication shown in the bookstore of the CR
Ministries website, then I will send you the book for an
additional $20. I said it was published in 1812, but actually the year
was 1818. If you would like to see what the leather cover looks like, I
can scan and send.
The deal would include your putting up a brief review of it on Amazon.
If you are willing to pay more that $20, then you canpurchase it
outright for $150—and omit getting Dad’s book and reviewing it,etc.
Thanks, Paul
