He married Mary Ann Evans, in Madison co, TN in 1854. She was born 23 December 1832 in NC. (Mary Ann appears to have been married previous to ___ Burnam (see below)) She died of blood poisoning14 June 1910 at Hartshorne,Pittsburg co.,OK. In 1880, this family resided in Yell county, Arkansas. Alfred died 28 November 1912 at Haskel,, OK.

Comments: My great grandfather married Mary Susan Bigelow in Yell County Arkansas, 1874. They moved to Oklahoma - had 10 children. I am searching for information on Alfred Burton (could be Birton) Bigelow and his wife Mary Ann Evans and Alfred's father and mother. Susan had a sister Eleanor Bigelow. (Don't know if there were other children. If anyone has documented proof would pay for copies. I will share what I have on William Albert and Susan. They are buried in Haskell county, OK.

She married 29 Aug 1878 Christopher Columbus Martin. He was born __ July 1858 in Arkansas, the son Wiley Blunt and Mary Ann (CARNETT) MARTIN. He was a farmer and died 10 May 1929 at Maud, Pottawatomie co.,OK, and buried there in Cummings cemetery.
