Abraham 7 BIGELOW


15591.36      Abraham 7 BIGELOW, son of  Isaac ( William 5 , Josiah 4, Thomas 3, Samuel 2, John 1 and Fanny (JACKSON) BIGELOW, was born at Natick, Middlesex, MA on 19 May 1810. He married Mary Brown Whitney the daughter of Ebenezer and Mary (Brown) Whitney, on 06 March 1831. Mary was born on 18 March 1813 at Dorchester, MA. Abraham was a farmer and fruit grower. This family resided in Natick several years and then moved to Sherborn - still later to Dover, MA where he died on 04 August 1888 a widower. His wife had died at Dover on 09 December 1881. "Their children were all very large people, averaging well over 200 pounds each".

15591.364     Sarah Griffin, b 06 Nov 1835; living 1917 Medfield, MA; m 23 Dec 1853 John Worthington Shumway who d 13 Aug 1889; no children.

15591.365t    Mary Frances, b 15 Jan 1838; d 20 Nov 1908 Medfield; m 16 April 1857 Francis Eliphalet Mason; 1 child.

15591.366t    Abraham jr., b 17 Aug 1839; d 03 Aug 1914 Wellesley, MA; m (1)09 July 1867 Lydia Ann (Higgins) Sears, (2) 11 June 1879 Mrs. Lucinda Ingram; 1 known child.

15591.367     Martha Allen, b 07 March 1841 Sherbom, MA; d 12 Oct 1841.

15591.368     Chester Adams, b 03 Aug l844 Sherborn; d 03 Mar 1915 Wellesley, MA; m Ol Nov 1868 Dover. MA Emma Elisa Howe,dgtr.of Albion and Eliza (Brown) Howe, b 07 Feb 1847 Dover; res. Wellesley; he served Co. H., 13th Regt. MA. Vols., with brother; no children.
