My name is Angela Oehlert and I am researching an Egbert
Bigelow who married Eugenia Langmaid in 1889 in Oberlin
Kansas. If you have info on either his parents or children or

Your website was exactly what I needed. Perhaps I can help you
with at least one child. Egbert Bigelow and Eugenia Langmaid had
a child named Dorothy Eugenie Bigelow. I have heard that
there were three other boy that were brothers, but not sure.
Dorothy Eugenie married Burnette O. Bower. (I don't have
birth or marriage dates). Their children were Veda Bower,
Doris Bower, and Margaret Claire Bower (my grandmother).
This fills in a lot of blanks for me Thank you again.

I wish I had spoken to my grandmother earlier. She has the names
of
the rest of Egbert's and Eugenie's children and their birth
years.
They are as follows:
Salome b 1890,
Ruth b 1892,
Dorothy Eugenie b 1894 d 1980, and

Subject: About Florence Bigelow
Hello Rod,
I am trying to find any information about Florence Julia Bigelow,
such as where she went after living in Japan, and when she died.
Florence was married to my great grandfather, Thomas Clay Winn, some
time after the death of his first wife, Eliza, in Manchuria, and we are
curious about what became of her after his death in 1921 at Kanazawa,
Japan.
My wife and I visited his grave in Japan, and visited the church
which he founded, and in which he was about to give a sermon when he
was struck down by a heart attack. I recently completed translating and
publishing a book about his life which was originally written in
Japanese, but the only mention of Florence Bigelow was that he married
her. There was no mention of whether she was still alive at the time of
his death, or where she moved to.
We would very much appreciate any information you might have
about Florence and her life before and after her time with Thomas Winn.
