Riley 8 BIGELOW

15145.12A      Riley 8 BIGELOW, son of  Marlin 7 ( John 6, John 5 , John 4, John 3, Samuel 2, John 1)  and Mabel (SHELDON) BIGELOW, was born at Richfield, Summit, OH on 10 April 1834. Supposedly he was married twice. The first marriage is given as 13 December 1850 at Medina, OH to Zella Bedell which is obviously incorrect as she must have been about  4 years of age at the time! So the marriage date is in question. In the Medina county records, her name is given as Rosella Bedell. She was born 16 January 1846 (?) and died on 06 January 1909 at age 63-11-20. To add to the confusion here, the death date of Riley is given as 21 January 1881 in West Cooper, Kalamazoo, MI. Alvira Hicks is listed as his second wife, but no data given. There was possibly a divorce from Zella. We sort out the children as follows:

Greetings!  In my research I came across the description of Riley Bigelow noted above with you listed as the contact person.  I am hoping
that you could provide more information re. Riley's first wife Zella Bedell. It says that she died 6 Jan 1909 but does not mention where she
died. She was my aunt several generations removed so I would like this information for further research.  Thanks!!!
