It is truly amazing what you can find on the internet.
I bumped into Denny Mahoney information today at http://bigelowsociety.com/rod/ell77221.htm
(while looking for something else) and low and behold, there was the list
of all the Ellen’s after whom I am named.
My grandmother is on that list (Ellen Williams Eldredge born in Lampasas
Feb 14, 1893), as well as her siblings, and the woman known as Aunt Nellie
(Ellen Sophia Williams), and my great grandfather (Arthur Stuart Eldredge)
etc etc etc.
I have my grandmother’s baby mug which has my name on it too (Ellen Williams
Sieniewicz), my mother’s name on it (Ellen Williams Shepherd), and my grandmother’s
name on it (Ellen Williams Eldredge) and it was given to her by her grandmother
– could be great-grandmother (Ellen Bigelow Williams). I have a photo in my
dining room that I believe to be the first Ellen (Ellen Bigelow).
James T. Eldrege is buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Mass. amongst
a few other relatives.
For so many years when I was a child, I hated the story that I was one of
a long line of Ellen’s, and now as an adult, I don’t mind so much, especially
when I can truly trace it all back.  So many of the names on this list
are so familiar to me because my mother and grandmother would natter on about
all the cousins and relatives non-stop.
I have too have a family bible that was given to me that dates back to the
mid 1860’s.
 Best to you,
 You made my day,
 Ellen Williams (Sieniewicz) Nodwell,
 Toronto, Canada
PS: in case the opportunity to acquire this bible still exists.  What
are the chances?

 Rod,
I found your web site through John Buczek's Marlborough, MA site.
I have information on the decendants of Henry Bigelo, son of Jacob and Sarah
Heartwell.  He had one daughter, Ellen who married John D.W. Williams
in Dec. 1832.
About 20 years ago at an "antique" flea market my parents found an old bible
that was for sale.  They bought it because it was lovely and deserved
a home.  The bible was presented to Henry Bigelow Williams by his grandmother
Sophia Field Bigelow.  It includes births, marriages and deaths for most
of Ellen Bigelow Williams' decendants until 1917.  It even has a entry
for Ellen's death, which I saw was missing from
your database, "Ellen Bigelow Williams died at Concord, Mass., her summer
home May 17th 1901. Aged 86 yrs. 6 months."
I have attached a MSWord file that has a typed list of the data in the bible.
I have also inserted into the document scanned images of the actual pages.
Let me know if you have any problems opening the document and I will send
you the info by "snail mail." (see below)

Also, I am interested if any of Ellen's direct decendants have contacted
you.  I would be willing to "return" the bible to them.
 Regards,
 Denny Mahoney
