BIGELOW, was born at Brookfield, VT on 08 April 1791. At the age
of 4, her parents moved to CT where they had lived earlier. On 05 June
1812 she married Allen House at Hampton, CT. He was the son of Lazarus
and Rebecca (Risley) House and was born at Glastonbury, CT on 21 October
1791. He had served in the War of 1812 and was a farmer. This family lived
in both Yates and Seneca counties, NY prior to MI. She died on 20 October
1865 at Milford township, MI. He had died there earlier on 07 September
1845. These death dates are confusing and there is a possibility
that they are switched. Both are buried at Oakgrove cemetery, Milford -
a check there would confirm the correct death dates.
