Hello "cousin"!
Have recently discovered the Bigelow Society on line. I am
a descendant of Dimmie Bigelow Holmes Parks through her 1st husband
Palmer Holmes. I borrowed both vols. of the Bigelow family put
together by the assoc. and her family seems to stop with her parents
Samuel and Lydia Jeffords Holmes??. I am in touch with a
descendant of Dimmie's dau from her second husband, Martha Parks.
I would like to make contact with other descendants of Dimmie. Would
like to hear from you.

More:
Adeline and Alfred would be my Dimmie's niece and nephew. I am pretty
sure Dimmie must have gone to MI with some of her Bigelow relatives
after her first husband, Palmer Holmes, died in Seneca Co., OH in 1841.
She and second husband, Davis Parks, are in the 1880 census of Clinton
Co., MI. Both died in MI. Their one dau, Martha Parks, was b. in
MI. So I think Dimmie and Davis probably married in MI but I have
not found that information yet. Are Jane and Allen Fisher in MI?

Comments: I was so glad to find your web page. I had been searching for
years
for my g-g-grandmother, Dimmis Bigelow, and was elated to find her
here.
My great- grandmother was Martha Jane Parks. Her father was Davis Parks
and
her husband was Albert David Moulton, who is my mother's grandfather.
This
is wonderful! Thanks.
