limited information. He was born in VT ahout 1820 and married Nancy Smith
on 02 September 1846. According to family tradition there is the possibility
that Nancy was born in Canada about 1818. In the 1860 census of St. Lawrence
county, NY, a Ruth Bigelow, age 77 and born in VT, was living in the household.
