# 151A1. Benjamin 5, oldest child of Benjamin 4( John 3, Samuel 2, John 1) and Levinah (THOMAS) BIGELOW, was born 5 Jan 1745 in Brookfield, Worcester co, MA. He early went to Hartford, CT and there married (1)18 Sep 1768, Mary COLLYER. She was born _____ and died 15 Jun 1789, aged 44 years. Benjamin m (2) _ July 1793 Catherine BENTON. They moved to Stratford, Fairfield co, CT, where inscriptions on gravestones show that Benjamin died 25 Sept 1815, aged 70 years, and Catherine his wife on 1 Aug 1821, aged 73 years.
