16314.81 Alfred 7 son of Joseph 6( Ezra 5 ,David 4,Lt. John3, Joshua2, John1) BIGELOW and Anna (McCall)BIGELOW was born about 1795, (25 at marriage), at Colchester, New London, CT prior to his parents move to NY. According to Hardin county, KY marriage records, 1820-1829, he was married on 13 November 1820 to Susannah Murlin. She was the daughter of George and Sarah ( __ ) Murlin and born ahout 1803 or 1804 in NY state. The Murlin family had moved into KY from NY state as did Alfred's father, Joseph, and his family. Alfred was a farmer and in 1830 was of Hart county, KY and listed as "Alphred Bigalow" then later, of Hamilton county, KY. He moved his family into OH where his sixth child was born and he is listed in 1840 census of Miami township. Alfred died in Illinois.

I just located your article of Ezra 5 Bigelow and I believe
I am a direct decendant of him - information I received from Pat Bigelow in
1984. Where things tend to be a little gray is with one of his sons
(either Enos or Joseph). Do you have any additional information on them?
In particular, I am trying to determine which gentleman is the father of
Alfred Bigelow (1795-1860's). Alfred married Susanna Murlin and lived
in Kentucky.
Again, just wanted to say hello and I appreciated your information/article
on Ezra.
