, and Rhoda (GLEASON) BIGELOW, was born 08 June 1806, at
Berlin, Worcester, MA. He married on 24 January 1830 Eliza Sawyer of Berlin.
She was born 29 June l84-(sic), daughter of Jonas, sr. and Euseba (Bailey)
Sawyer. They lived many years in Berlin, but about 1861 moved to the adjoining
town of Northborough, where both were living in 1889. Abraham died at Berlin
on 21 May 1896 and Eliza sometime after. He was a cooper by trade and bore
an excellent reputation as a workman, and was a man "of sterling integrity
and upright character". When living in Berlin, he served as one of the Selectmen.
