Loyal H. 7 BIGELOW

16814.91    Loyal H. 7 BIGELOW, son of  Ezra Parker 6 ( Roger 5 , Joseph 4, Joseph 3, Joshua 2,John 1) and Phoebe (HALL) BIGELOW, was born 01 January 1816 (age 82 at death), at (Potsdam, NY) Stockholm, St. Lawrence, NY.  He married (1) in July 1839 Wealthy M. Pier born about 1819 in VT.  She died in 1872 and in August of 1893 he married Mary E. Pier.  She was born about 1829 and died 11 November 1912.  Loyal earlier lived in OH and later IL.  He died on 12 September 1897 St. Charles IL. Both Loyal and Mary are buried in Rose Hill cemetery, Chicago, IL.

16814.913     Edward Alpheus, b ___ Sept 1849 Zanesville; d 18 Dec 1914 Chicago; m __ 1887 Susan Springer Montgomery (b 17 June 1861--d 04 Sep 1925).

16814.914     Alfred P., b 10 Oct 1859 Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH; d 20 Jun 1904 (aged 44) Chicago, IL; m 1881 Rebecca Eugenia Richardson "Betty" (1859-1945).

16814.915     Mary, d age 1 year.

Loyal H. Bigelow Dies
Loyal H. Bigelow died yesterday at his home in St. Charles as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered on Saturday.
Mr. Bigelow came to Chicago in 1865 and for several years was in the wholesale drug business.
The funeral will be held there today at 3 p.m.; interment at Rosehill. Mr. Bigelow left a widow and three sons:
A. P. Bigelow, General Freight Agent of the Baltimore and Ohio; E. A. Bigelow, and James L. Bigelow, all of Chicago.
