I'll try again to contact you - my name is Faye Baker Sanderlin
- my
grandmother was Louise Dengate - sister to Lillis - she married Fayette
Hunter - my mother was Frances Belle Hunter who married Coral Milton
(John)
Baker. Roy and Bertha were two of my favorite people when I was
growing up -
in fact our whole family loved them. When my grandmother, Louise,
passed
away Bertha was due to come up and see her the next day and that morning
she
said she would love to see Bertha - Mother told her that Bertha was
coming
the next day. She wasn't real happy about that, but later that
day, Bertha
showed up, she had gotten a ride up from home - my grandmother was
so glad to
see her - she passed away that night.
I don't know how old you are, Rod, but do you remember a family reunion
held
at the lake where Roy rolled down the hill with the kids - just for
fun (and
he wasn't a kid then, by any means)
Would love to hear from you - I live in California now and both my
folks have
gone, but I still try to keep up with the geneology she worked on
