He married Bertha Evelyn Kerr, 01 Sep 1914, in Framingham, MA. She was the daughter of William Scott Kerr and Ella F. (Newman). Bertha was born 25 Nov 1892 Gloucester, Essex County, MA., and died in 1928 (aged 35–36). Howard died 25 Jan 1960 (aged 68).

I don't believe I found this! :) I used to hear of the Bigelow society news...in fact I think I remember my parents getting it in the mail. I have my lineage from John Biglo and Mary Warren. Daughter of Alton Kerr Bigelow,Grandaughter of
Howard Ellis Bigelow. I am going to look more now.... I think I am home.(see below)

Alton was World War II Veteran, B3c, US Navy. Served aboard USS Ault (DD-698) in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Ault was anchored nearby USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay for the surrender ceremony with Japan.
