Zulime (HOLMES) BIGELOW, was born at Evanston, IL on 28 August
1901. On
04 September 1926, she married Nealy Adolphus Chapin. He was born
30
August 1899 in Galesburg, IL, son of Eben H. and Kate (Mathews)
Chapin.
Nealy received his BS from U.S.N.A. 1921-A, and MS from Lehigh
University. He was an Associate professor in College of
Engineering and a Rear Admiral in the U. S. Navy 1917-1948.
Frances attended Long Beach Junior College and Columbia University
Teacher's College. Summer sessions, taught
dancing in NYC and NJ 1919-1926. Frances died 17 May 1982 and Nealy had
died
14 August 1977.
