William Franklin 8 BIGELOW


16164.9A3     William Franklin 8 BIGELOW, son of Amos A. 7 ( Joseph 6 , Nathan 5, John 4, Joshua 3, Joshua 2, John 1), and Abbey (CHESTER) BIGELOW, was born at Tomah, Monroe co, WI on 21 February 1858.  He married in 20 February 1879 (one source gives only 1878) Rosetta Elizabeth Bates, the daughter of Hiram and Mary (Hart) Bates.  She was born 01 June 1861 at Sutton Flats, Brome, Quebec.  In late years, William went into (then) Myron (or Marion), Dakota Territory, but died in Tomah on 09 June 1921.  Rosetta died 15 March 1947 Mauston, WI. Both are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah, WI.
