son of Oscar W. 7
( Joseph 6 , Nathan 5, John 4, Joshua 3, Joshua 2, John 1), and Esther
(QUILLETS) BIGELOW, was born at Moriah, Essex co, NY on 28 February
1848. In the late 1860's he was located in Nevada, settling in Elko,
then Reno and Carson City. He was a lawyer and Chief Justice of
the Nevada Supreme Court 1890-1897. He retired at San Francisco,
CA where he died on 18 February 1907 age 58 yrs, 11 mos, 20 dys.
He married Roxanna Cooding ca 1875, born 02 September 1847 in NY State,
dau of Charles and Harriett (Harroun) Cooding. She died in La Jolla,
San Diego co, CA
on 14 February 1928 age 80 yrs, 5 mos, 12 dys.

Does anyone know this couple? They were married in Wisconsin sometime
in the 1880's. I am trying to locate them after this period of time.
This
could be my great-grandfather's (John T. Mullen) sister. She may also
be
known
as Maggie Mullen.
Don Bigelow of
Bradenton, FL met Raymond "Ray" Bigelow of Natick, MA. He owns 3
of Gilman Bigelow Howe's research journals which he loaned to
him. Found between pages was the attached letter from Rensselaer
Roscoe Bigelow.
