Bigelow Jr.
passed away Dec. 15, 2001. He was born Jan. 4, 1915, In Toledo, Ohio, and
after retirement he and his wife Dolores moved to Green Valley in 1982.
They recently moved to Sun City Vistoso in Oro Valley. On Nov. 30. Dave and
Dolores celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.
Dave was a newspaper pressman at the Toledo Blade for
45 years, retiring in 1981. For many years, he volunteered his services
to the Community Transportation and as a pool monitor at West Center In Green
Valley. Dave was a member of Valley Presbyterian Church, the Arizona-Sonora
Desert Museum and the Kiwanis Club of Green Valley
He is survived by his loving wife Dolores; son David III (Terry); daughters
Diane Meschke (George) and Dawn Marie Bigelow; brother Jack; sisters Margie
and Renza; also five step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Valley Presbyterian Church on Thursday,
Dec. 20, at 10 a.m., with internment in the Columbarium. Memorials may be
made to the Kiwanis International Children's Fund, P.O. Box 949. Green Valley,
