New Note:
My name is David
Bigelow, and Benjamin Franklin (7) Bigelow 16814.15 would have
been my
great grand-father. I received several years ago a copy of the 1986
edition of the Bigelow Family Genealogy Volume 1, as a gift from my
aunt Lucille (who may have been a member because she also sent me
several copies of the Forge) and a typed listing of ancestors back to
John Biglo. I’ve played around a little bit with this mostly out
of curiosity, but have recently, due to a recent history project of my
own, been thinking a bit more. My father, Eugene Ashley (probably
10) Bigelow (son of Delmar (9)) is 89 and might still have information
that could fill in some blanks; and I have on video tape a rather full
collection of old photos that dad had compiled several years ago.
Then also, I would probably be (11); one brother and one sister, and my
son (12) and daughter would all follow to bring current. I
remember my aunt Cleo and uncle Ray and Ray had two children both still
in the Denver area I believe. In any event, I might be able to provide
lots of information and documentation or direction to research of my
dad’s family. Can you give me some guidance on how to do this,
what you would like to see? Would this be helpful?
