16A56.1C      William 7 BIGELOW, son of Thomas 6 ( Thomas 5 , Hopestill 4 , Ebenezer 3, Joshua2, John1) and Jennett C. (GORDON) BIGELOW, was born at Hartford, NY on 17 December 1851 and married Cora B. Phillips on 12 April 1882. This family resided in Milwaukee, WI. We now have info in 2025 of the following: His wife's name was Clara Philiips, not Cora (see below) and he died in 1941 (aged 89–90).

Former official of bank, 89, passes away here
Funeral services for William J. Bigelow, 89, pioneer Milwaukean, and widely known banker who died Thursday afternoon, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Home Chapel with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margaret R. Eldred.
He was vice-president of the former First National Bank, later merged with Wisconsin National Bank to form the present First Wisconsin National Bank.
He was born in New York.
His sister's name: Mrs. H. H. Camp.(This was Anna Searle Bigelow, married Hoel Hinman Camp in 1861)
He married Clara Phillips in Eau Claire. She died in 1935.
His granddaughter flew out from Michigan for the funeral. Mrs. Jane Eldred, a schoolteacher at Mount Clemens, Michigan.
