16C23.63      William Rufus 7 BIGELOW, son of Rufus 6 (Ephraim 5 , Elisha 4 , Eleizer 3, Joshua 2, John 1) and Sally (PILLSBURY) BIGELOW, was born at Lyndon, Caledonia co, VT on 02 November 1835 and married Emma L. Place on 25 March 1865. Emma was born on 15 August 1845 at Stanstead, Quebec. (There is a conflict here, one record states Stanstead to be in Quebec, another states VT. Howe lists both Quebec and VT in two lines Stanstead is in Que, just across the Vermont border....ROD 01/16/2002 ). This family resided in North Sandwich, NH. Death of William recorded 1888 (aged 51-52). Emma died 1902 (aged 56–57).
