Joseph Enos 7 BIGELOW



16B26.14      Joseph Enos 7 BIGELOW, son of Job Gardner 6 ( Jabez 5 , Jabez 4 , Gershom 3, Joshua2, John1) and Thankful (ENOS) BIGELOW, was  born at New Lebanon, Columbia, NY on 03 January 1826. In 1855 he married Mary Maynard, the daughter of William Sumner Maynard. She was born on 18 August 1826 at Ann Arbor, MI. Joseph graduated from Michigan University, 1854, studied law, admitted, and settled in Detroit. In the fall of 1865 he moved his family to Memphis, TN. He was a Judge of the Criminal Court and appointed by Gov. Brownlow. We have no proven death information but it is believed she died about 1914 and he about 1896.

3. Job Gardner Bigelow (1792-1838) m. 1819 Thankful Enos (1794-1882).
4. Jabez Bigelow m. 1792 Almy Gardiner (1755-1813);
Joseph Enos m. 1780 Thankful Coon (1763-1858).
Joseph Enos (1758-1835) served several enlistments and rose from private to 2nd lieutenant in the Rhode Island militia. His widow [p.126] received a pension until her death, in 1857. He was born in Rhode Island; died in Ohio.
Also Nos. 72913, 74355. Jabez Bigelow (1760-1829) was a private in Capt. Timothy Boutell's company, Col. John Rand's Worcester County, Mass., regiment, 1780. He was born in Hebron, Conn.; died in New Lebanon, N. Y.

According to the above 1900 census, Guy Maynard Bigelow married Cora A. _____ in 1887, she was born in 1865 in Michigan and had two children 
with one still living at time of census... that child:
Mable M was born in Apr 1890 in Michigan.
