Lydia 7 BIGELOW


16225.23      Lydia 7 BIGELOW, dau of Jesse 6 ( Solomon 5 , Benjamin 4 , Jonathan 3 , Joshua 2, John 1), and Thankful (FULFORD) BIGELOW, was born at Elizabethtown township, Leeds, Ontario (other source gives Leeds township), on 09 January 1799. About the age of 25, (1824), she married James Brown. He was the son of Jonah and Anna (Judson) Brown and born atYonge township, Leeds, Ont. on 11 May 1794. He was a farmer, gristmill and sawmill owner. Lydia died at. Philipsville, Leeds, Ont. on 06 March 1874 and James followed her in death on 13 September 1874 at Philipsvilie. Both are buried at Elgin Cemetery.
