14261.55    John Hart 7 BIGELOW, son of James 6 ( John 5 , Joseph 4, Daniel 3, Daniel 2, John 1), and Mehitable (DRAPER) LYON BIGELOW was born 12 July 1829 Spencer, Worcester, MA and married on 05 June 1864 Abbie Anne Dewing born 14 February 1843 Shrewsbury, MA. John Hart Bigelow was a carder and spinner. (see below) They resided Leicester, MA where he died 02 January 1893. She died there 21 December 1915.

 I came across your web page. I have some info that will fill in some holes that I noticed. Abbie Ann Dewing married John Hart Bigelow. They had 5 children. This is the info I have (from the book "The Descendants of Andrew Dewing" I hope it helps. I can also give you info on Abbie's parents and siblings if you'd like.

 Where did you get the Ann for Abbie?  My records just indicated Abbie A.
My reason for specifics is that I just discussed a discrepancy with a Wheelock researcher.  Mary Wheelock is
Abbie's mother.  It seems Mary had a sister named Abigail Adams Wheelock that a previous researcher
attributed to marrying a Dewing.  After various discussions, we felt Mary had named Abbie after her sister. I
hope you can shed some light on the validity of the name.
