Jesse 6 BIGELOW


16317.6          Jesse 6 Bigelow, son of  Azariah 5 ( David 4, Lt. John 3, Joshua 2, John 1) BIGELOW and Margaret (FOOTE) BIGELOW, was born 18 May 1780 at Colchester, New London county, CT. He married, on 12 October 1818, Roxanna "Roxy" Robbins, daughter of Frederick Robbins of Rocky Hill, CT. She was born 21 February 1794. Jesse graduated from Yale College, and was a physician at East Haddam. He died there 02 May 1823. His widow married (2) 13 September 1833 Joseph Goodspeed of East Haddam.

16317.62t     Amelia Mellicent, b 25 Oct 1820; d 06 July 1881 Baltimore, MD; m 05 Dec 1848 John Robert Holliday.
1 daughter.

16317.63t     William Jesse, b 21 May 1823, a posthumous child; d 04 Dec 1849 New York; m 05 Sept 1848 Elizabeth Ann Seely. 1 daughter.

Buried in First Church Cemetery, East Haddam, CT; page 157:

Bigelow, infant of Jesse & Roxy; died Aug. 17, 1819, age 6 hours.
