Rod,
I have just come across your Bigelow Society web site, and am interested
in some material.
During the past year I have been able to trace my line back to James
Bigelow (b 1762, MA , dc 1842 Wayne County, PA).  I can document back to
Edwin A. bc 1828 with b & d records and Edwins' CW discharge papers, plus
census and a county history indication James Howe and James.
Does the Bigelkow genealogy provide documentation and anecdotals, or just
names and dates?  Either way, I am interested in acquiring a copy.
Thanks for the good work in making the material available.

James How ⁶ BIGELOW, son of James ⁵ ( Joseph ⁴, Daniel ³, Daniel ², John ¹) was born 28 March 1804 in Massachusetts.
He married (1) Rachel Muzzey.  She was born Abt. 1810.  He married (2) Mary Ann _____.

The 1850 census has James married to Mary Ann.  Matthews, p 649 has him married to Rachel Muzzy.  I suspect two marriages, with Rachel the first, dying after 1845.  Rachel may have been the daughter of Pliny Muzzy of Clinton.  Rachel would have been mother of at least first seven children, Mary Ann of at least one or two, unless Rachel and Mary Ann are same person.  Needs more work here.  (CJG)
