Will of Israel Bigelow

Will of Israel Bigelow In the name of the Benevolent Father of All       I Israel Bigelow of Pleasant Valley Darby Township Madison County State of Ohio, being of sound mind do make and publish this my last will and Testament.
     Item 1st I give and devise to my beloved wife Polly the house and lot where my son Timothy now lives and all the Household and Kitcheon [sic] furniture that I have.
     2nd that all Debts due me shall be collected and all just Debts paid that I owe and all other moveable property be sold to the best advantage and that my Three Youngest Children Diana Hosea and Chamberlain have good English teaching.
      I give and devise to my sons and Daughters as following To my sons Israel Bigelow, Isaac Bigelow, Lebbeus L. Bigelow, Daniel K. Bigelow and Eliphaz Bigelow one Dollar each to make there [sic] full share, and to my Daughters Dolly Larimer, Polly Daugherty and Almey Martin one Dollar each to make out there [sic] full share and the balance of my estate I devise to my four youngest children after they become Twenty-one years of age namely Timothy Bigelow, Diana Bigelow, Hosea Bigelow and Chamberlain Bigelow, after paying the Dowery of my wife.
      I do hereby appoint Daniel K. Bigelow Gardian [sic]of my Three youngest Children until they arrive at the age of Twenty-one years, namely Diana Hosea and Chamberlain Bigelow.
     I do hereby appoint Isaac Bigelow and Daniel K. Bigelow Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby authorizing and empowering them to compromise adjust release and Discharge such Manner as they may deem proper, The debt and claims due me. I do also authorize and empower them if it shall become necessary to Sell by private Sale or in Such a Manner and upon Such Terms of Credit or otherwise as they may think proper, all or any part of my real estate and Deed to purchases to execute acknowledge and Deliver in fee simple.
     I do hereby revoke all former will by me made
    In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord AD 1838.
