3 , Joshua 2, John 1), and Patience (FOOTE) BIGELOW,
was born 11 Feb1765 at Glastonbury, Hartford county, CT. He married (1)1
June 1789 Lucy Root. They lived at Easton, Washington county, NY, where Lucy
died 1 Dec 1819. He then married (2) a Mrs. Mary Gifford. During his last
few years, Erastus became blind, and lived in Union Village, NY. He died
15 July 1855.
