Deliverance 3 BIGELOW


15A  Deliverance 3 BIGELOW, tenth child and daughter of Samuel 2 (John 1), and Mary (FLAGG) BIGELOW, was born 22 Sept 1695 at Watertown, Middlesex co, MA. She was married there 10 Oct 1715 to Capt. John STEARNS, son of John and Judith (LAWRENCE) STEARNS of Lexington. John was born 1692, and baptized 11 May 1701 in Watertown. he was a captain in the militia, and a blacksmith by trade. Before 1720 they removed to Worcester, where owing to poor early records, we have little accurate information. John and Deliverance bought 50 acres at Worcester in 1717. In 1748 John was sent to repel the Indians in a battle. John and Deliverance were both living in 1762.

15A2     Jotham, bap 22 June 1718 Watertown West; d 1749 Worcester; m 1741 Mary Flagg; dau of Bartholomew; 3 children.

15A3     Samuel, b 1720 Worester; m 10 aug 1752 Jemima Hoyt.

15A4     Isaac, m (1) 7 Nov 1751 Katherine Crosby, and (2) 30 Apr 1755 Elizabeth Roberts.

15A5     William, b 1732 Worcester; m (1) 1753 Mary __ ; (2) intent-to-marry recorded 27 Dec 1766 Mary Willard.

15A6     Deliverence, m 25 Dec 1760 Elisha Hodge, jr.

15A7     Increase, b 1738 Worcester; m 8 Jan 1760 Deborah Hale or Hull.
