Gorton 6 BIGELOW, son of Elisha
5 ( Elisha 4, Isaac 3, Samuel
2, John1) and
Wealthea (GORTON) BIGELOW, was born 21 March 1792 at Reading, Windsor
county, VT. He married Lucy Kendall, daughter of Isaac and Ruth Kendall. She
was born 17 March 1793, and died 16 January 1866 at Woodstock, VT. They resided
in Woodstock, where he died 14 November 1867. He was for many years a member
of the Board of Trustees of the Green Mountain Institute, and at his death
left the Institute the sum of one thousand dollars. No issue.
