Amos 6 BIGELOW

15594.C      Amos 6 BIGELOW, son of Converse 5 ( Josiah 4, Thomas 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and  Anna (PARKS) BIGELOW, was born 29 June 1801 at Sherborn, Middlesex county, MA. He married, on 27 May 1827, Lucy Stowe. She was born 27 July 1809 at Stow, MA. He was a farmer near Sherborn, and in his declining years moved into the village, where he was living in 1888. His wife died 29 Aug 1885 at Sherborn.

15594.C1t    George Converse, b 11 May 1828; d ____ ; m 29 Nov 1855 Eleanor J. Doane; a builder at Worcester, MA. 1 child.

15594.C2t    Amos Eldridge, b 10 May 1830; d ____ ; m Mary Pratt; with his brother was a builder at Worcester, MA. 3 children.

15594.C3     Henry, b 25 Nov 1833; d ; m (1) 28 Oct 1863 Catharine Pratt; (2) 27 Apr 1886 Mary Cockell; res Worcester,
MA many years, but retired to Sherborn. No issue.

15594.C4t    Edmund Dowse, b 5 Dec 1838; d ____ ; m 26 Oct 1865 Alzina E. Jenkins; res Baltimore, MD and Kansas City, MO. 3 children.

15594.C5     Lucy Ann, b 7 May 1840; d 29 June 1874 Sherborn.

15594.C6     Wesley, b 16 Nov 1848; res Boston, MA; a manufacturer of decorative furniture.
