Eleanor Glynn Bigelow Applewhite, age 90, a resident of Bogalusa,
LA passed away at Rest Haven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA. She
married the love of her life on March 30, 1946. She was a member
of Monroe Street Baptist Church. She worked at Sears in Bogalusa,
La for many years. She loved their camp and fishing on the Gulf
Coast. And she was elected Mardi Gras Queen in 2017 at Rest Haven
Living Center. She was preceded by her husband Albert Applewhite,
her parents Halbert Harding (10/20/1901 to 3/1972) and Ollie Bell
Schillings Bigelow (9/25/1907 to 12/1990), 2 brothers Halbert
"Buddy" Bigelow and Jerry Bigelow, 5 grandsons, Billy Ray Rester
Jr., Dwaine White, Daryl Rester, Jonathan Glover and Robert
Applewhite and 1 great-grandson Billy Ray Rester III.
