I am a descendant of John Shear and Sarah Bigelow.  Their son, Charles John Shear 1859-1936 New Hudson, MI., married Lena Mae Shefpo 1869-1953.  They had several children, Bruce Christopher, John Peter, Charles Dewey and Dulah Loretta.
Dulah married Howard Gebhardt Cole.  They had 3 sons, Howard, Jackie and my father Roger Cole.
