( Thaddeus 5 , Joshua 4, Joshua 3, Joshua 2, John1) and Annis
(PIKE) BIGELOW, was born at Worcester, Worcester, MA on 29 April
1797 and married on 03 September 1820 in Roxbury, MA Pamela Hill. According
to the 1850 census, Pamela was born in 1800 and that Rufus was worth $14,000.
Evidently older children, born between their marriage date and the 1850
census, had left the household, but we do find in the household in 1850:
Rufus died 21 January 1866 Boston, Suffolk co, MA.
16112.521 Francis H., "age 14, b MA and in school",
this gives us his birth year as ca 1836.
