William Henry ⁷ BIGELOW

16117.61 William Henry ⁷BIGELOW, son of Elisha ⁶( Asa ⁵, Joshua ⁴, Joshua ³, Joshua ², John¹) and Mary Nony (BIGELOW) BIGELOW, was born at Pittsford, VT on 11 April 1799. He married Sarah Fisk Gibbs, the daughter of Isaac and Mary (____) Gibbs in Oxford, MA on 30 March 1817.(see below) She was born on 03 June 1799 and died in Webster, MA where they had lived for many years, on 27 February 1864. Her widower died in Webster in 1876.

I am looking for info. on my great-grandmother, Mary J. Bigelow b. Webster, Ma., mid 1800's. Her husband was Charles A. Angell b. E.Douglas, Ma.

I think you're right. I have my grandfather's birth certificate. It lists her place of birth as Webster, Ma. but that could be wrong. The
dates and places seem possible. I've also found out that my grandfather had a sister Mary (Angell) who died on Oct. 24,1922.
I have been in touch with a relative in MA. who confirmed that Mary J. Bigelow was born in Oxford, MA. on Aug. 5, 1831 and married Charles A.
Angell on June 29, 1851. My grandfather, Richard John Angell was born in Oxford, MA. on Oct. 18, 1872. There was also a daughter Mary who
died on Oct. 24,1922. I'm not sure yet about any other children.
I've found that Mary died March 6, 1882. I'm nor sure where but will forward any new info. I have confirmed that she was my great-grandmother.
Mary Jane Bigelow (16117.617) died March 6, 1882 and is buried in South Cemetary, Oxford, MA.

I am wondering if you have information regarding Sarah Fiske Gibbs who married William Henry Bigelow 30 Mar 1817 at Oxford, Ma.
I descend from her sister, Sabra (aka Sabrina) who married William E. Stebbins 25 Mar 1827 at Oxford, Ma.
Any information will be helpful. I know the mother was Mary (aka Polly) Cannon, but do not know Polly's parents.
Has anyone has ever checked the death of Sarah Fiske (Gibbs) Bigelow who died 27 FEb 1864 in Webster,
Ma.? The death might possibly give the maiden name of her mother, which I think was Cannon/Canon.
