More information from descendant:
My name is Don Wrighter. I am researching the Wrighter family. I was pleasantly surprised to find your Bigelow website. I have been looking for information on William Briggs Bigelow and Julia Wrighter on and off for almost a year. I was having trouble finding these two. This is because she died before her name was mentioned on a census.
I was also looking in the wrong place. Julia's father John Milton Wrighter moved from Mt. Pleasant to Susquehanna County. The county history of Susquehanna mentioned that Julia and William moved to N.Y. This will save me a good bit of time and money now that I won't have to start collecting vital records.
Do you have any additional information about their children? I would also like to go over some of the sources. Is there any more information about specific sources used, etc...  Perhaps there are some additional clues on the Wrighter family in there.
I used to live in Hallstead, Pa. Donald A. Wrighter email: Don.A.Wrighter@gpc.com
Maybe somebody out there will add to this information.............ROD 5/11/98
