Ebenezer ⁵ BIGELOW

16A56.A      Ebenezer ⁶ BIGELOW,  son of Thomas ⁵ ( Hopestill ⁴ ( Ebenezer ³, Joshua², John¹) and Mary (GRIFFITH) BIGELOW, was  born in November 1811 in Whitehall, Washington co., NY. He was living with William in 1860.  He married 26 January 1832 to Maria Wright. She was born in 1811 and died 11 December 1883 in Lewis co, NY?. They had four children, all reached adulthood, but one died before marriage.  According to will of their father, Thomas ⁵, Ebenezer was to be cared for by his son, Thomas, Jr., after the death of his father.  This Thomas was appointed sole executor of his father, Thomas' will filed in Albany, NY, and notice of hearing was published in Albany Argus, ("paper published by the Printer to the State").  Ebenezer was then of Lyonsdale, Lewis co, NY., in "his now old and declining age, to be made as comfortable as possible."  His occupation, cause of his "early" death as well as other details of his life are not known at present.  He had four children, three very young when he died.
