Beulah ⁵ BIGELOW

# 1622B.      Beulah ⁵ daughter of Benjamin ⁴ (Jonathan ³, Joshua ², John¹) and Elizabeth (COLMAN) BIGELOW, said to be the first child born in Fitzwilliam, Cheshire county, NH, on 23 May 1762, and allegedly born under a cart body, as they were so newly arrived that the cabin was not ready for occupancy. Her father died in 1771, and she went to live at Acton, MA, but not liking the treatrnent she received at the place where she was living, she went to Stow, MA. There on 09 March 1794 she married Ezekiel Gates, son of Elisha Gates. He was born in Stow ___ . Beulah died 26 December 1832.
