Ann 4 BIGELOW


16C6   Ann 4  BIGELOW, sixth child and second daughter of  Eleazer 3 ( Joshua 2, (John 1), and Mary (FISKE) BIGELOW, was born 30 May 1740 in Watertown, Middlesex county, MA. In 1742 the family removed to Westminster, Worcester county. There Ann married on 11 Sep 1760 Samuel Titus, son of John and Mary (Daggett) Titus. He was born 13 Mar 1734 at Attleboro, MA. They settled after marriage at Ipswich, Canada, now called Winchendon,MA, where he was highway supervisor and rate collector, hog reeve, and held other offices. The first three children were born in Winchendon, MA. They then moved to Bath, NH. They settled in Moulton Hill, Landiff, NH about 1782. Samuel again held several town offices. In 1805 they moved to Lyman, NH, where he died about 1818. During the Revolutionary War he was commissioned Captain of the 7th co, 12th Regt Foot Troops, in New Hampshire on 5 Sep 1775. We have no death date for Ann, but he is buried at Parker's Hill, Lyman, NH.

               (b 1768, d 29 Dec 1840). Both buried Titus Hill, NH.

16C65.    Luther.

16C67.   John Smith, b Nov 1780 Bath, NH; d 18 Jun 1868; m Dec 1805 Sally Boynton.

16C68.    Polly, b 16 Apr 1783; d _____ ; m Benjamin Sherman.
