and Mary (SNOW) BIGELOW, was born circa 1749 at either Harvard or
Groton. He was married at Bolton, MA on 1 Jan 1772 to Hannah Robbins. She
was born circa 1751. William served throughout the Revolution, and at the
close of his life, claimed pension. He was a farmer and laborer. On the
1790 census he is listed with 1-2-3-0-0 in his household; in 1800 it reads
00001-12001. He died at Bolton 1 Oct 1826, and his wife Harmah died 19
July 1837, aged 86 years.

service, 3 mos. 12 days; also, receipt for wages for Aug., 1775, dated
Prospect Hill; also, return of men enlisted into Continental Army, dated
May 23, 1778; enlistment, 3 years; reported absent from company at Bolton;
also, list of men raised for the 6 months service and returned by Brig.
Gen. Patterson as having passed muster, in a return dated Camp Totoway,
Oct.25, 1780; also, pay roll for 6 months men raised by the town of Bolton
for service in the Continental Army during 1780; marched July 17,1780;
discharged Dec. 6, 1780; service, 5 mos.; also, Private, Capt. Rufus Lincoln's
co., Lieut. Col. John Brooks's (7th) regt; muster rolls for Sept., Oct.
and Nov., 1781; enlisted March 31, 1781; enlistment, 3 years; also, muster

pension application makes clear that she is one and the same person, as
described above.
