Orange Fire Worm
       Eurythoe complanata     

Features: Highly Toxic; This annelid earns its name; If touched, inflicts painful  stings with bristles that pierce the skin;
Size: 6 inches;
Depth: 5 to 50 feet;

Description: Orange yellow in color; with tufts of red gills; numerous white bristles on sides;
Notes: There is also a Green Fireworm (Hermodice carunculata) 10 inches long with tufts of orange gills
